The Care Crowd members glean lots of great ideas from every podcast. Check out what some of them have told us about Clintcast!
I'm hooked! I've introduced Clintcast to my supervisors and they love it. I've taken 15 minutes out of our meeting to listen to one of your podcasts. I've even sent invitations to other managers in the healthcare field and have received many positive responses for sending such an awesome tool. Clint is very motivational and puts a lot of things into perspective. Keep up the great work. Thanks Clint!
-Lisa BohlmanIt's nice to be able to access you via the internet. I can review issues, get a second "dose" as a reminder of interventions that truly work. I need frequent reminders when I've had that bad day, bad week, etc.
-Kathy BalcomI have enjoyed Clint for the last 25 years. He is always entertaining and right on point. It has made a difference in my day to day involvement with residents, families and staff. Keep up the great work.
-Geoffrey HenryI love listening to Clint, he is motivating, and funny, "hits the nail on the head". It is a great program all staff should listen. Thanks
-Millie McCabeFrom the first time I attended your seminar at FHCA I have been a big fan. I love the idea of getting a daily dose of Clint. I hope you will continue to provide these podcasts it is as necessary as a cup of coffee! Thanks and keep us informed!!
-JoAnn WestbrookClintcast is a great way to break up your day and get great insight to many issues involving the healthcare industry. I look forward to reading and listening to Clint every chance I get...What a motivator! We all need a "little" Clint to brighten our day!
-Carol GomeringerClint, thanks for your insight into team building and motivation. I have used your ideas and suggestions with my team in the hospital laboratory and also with my team on the "outside" in my direct selling business. Your messages apply to all areas of life and work, not just in healthcare! I'm so glad you started the website and I like the daily podcasts. We all need to be motivated every day, especially in today's world. Thanks again.
-Luann France-BryantThank you. It is like a series of booster shots. I have heard Clint and several of the speakers from your organization over the past several years and find these Clintcasts as refresher courses to reinforce the positive attitude I experience when I have left the programs. -With gratitude. -Ardene ZionHi,
I am an LPN for 16 years. I had worked in staff development for a short time, and frequently utilized some of your VHS series in our training. My Don loved them, as well as me. I have recently started listening to the Clintcast and love them as well. I really enjoy your down to earth, straight forward approach to healthcare, especially long term care. I enjoy listening and more than that I love all the information I receive. Thanks, and god bless, keep up the great work, it is appreciated!!!
I was introduced to Clint many years ago when he appeared at the ANHA mid year convention in Birmingham. I ordered several videotapes and shared them with my department heads. I could probably find them to be applicable today. Your BMG is more politically correct today than it was then.
I have enjoyed the daily "messages" since I started listening a few weeks ago. The "daily morning meeting" message made me take pause and think about the value of all those folks piled in our conference room. I move along a lot faster than before and I don't allow inane side bars.
I'm getting ready for today’s word, see you later.
-David JohnstonEvery since my director and I met you at our MAHAP Conference in Lansing last fall. First we were talking about you to all our access staff and now thanks to Clintcast.com we are listening to you. I 'll be in my office and staff will walk by and say "who is that guy?" and after they stop and listen they're hooked. I am at a time in my career when your humor and good advise keeps the energy flowing!
-Barb Lahti[We] first heard Clint speak at a VHCA seminar 1 year ago - took a suggestion and put it into practice - let staff hire staff - started this immediately after the session - so we finished the year lowering our turnover from 47.4% building wide to 29.7% - and reduced LNA turnover by 13% alone!! Staff very much are vested in new employees and their success is the veteran staff's goal now - much happier workplace as well - not constantly retraining.
-Rose Mary MayhewClintcast provides some "sense" to a lot of nonsense and a refocusing when it's all too easy to lose focus and get mired down in alot of stuff! It helps to bring me back to why I went into this business. Many of the webcasts provide a basis for discussion among our department heads. We incorporated two items into our strategic plan-#1-peer review evaluations and #2 peer interview before hire. We have also discussed many, many more topics such as immediately discussing an employee's absence when they return to work-I used it and watched another department head use it. The quiet 15 minutes while listening also serves a stress reducer (levity and relaxing) so that I can tackle the rest of the day. Thanks a million! keep it up!
